Background
The wet rocks project is designed for grade 7 - 11 students in high school.
The Education department of Victoria identified a dramatic decline in students from VCE taking on further studies in Hydrology and the understanding of ground water. This directly was linked back to a drop in high schools taking on hydrology as part of the curriculum. This was linked to the feedback given from students, finding that the content from the subject was dry boring and that it was not something they would want to per sue as a career.

The Project
The Wetrocks project required the development of a website and games that would link into the educational materials and standards used when teaching hydrology in high school. The websites required a detail site map to show and identify the flow of traffic between the students for the games & activities and the teachers for resources and teaching materials. The website final development took a turn as 80% of development was put into the games and the accurate delivery of the educational content through the games. This meant that the final website design was changed to feature the games as the primary focus of the website. This meant that kids spent less time navigating through the website to get to the games. The site structure was simplified to allow simplistic navigation for teachers.

Pepper Sports & Leisure Consulting Logo

Pepper is a brand identity that was developed for a client that wanted to create a personal identity to a industry that is very competitive. The client felt that as a freelance consultant it was difficult to compete with bigger financial consultancy firms. The client wanted a brand that would portray the work ethics and brand values that makes the client as a freelancer unique. The name Pepper was adapted as the previous company name was to confusing and did not create any personality in the name. It was seen as if the brand and company wanted to be unique a individual typography needed to be used. The text used in the logo was developed specifically for the company and the brand tied closely in with modern, unique requirements that were specified by the client.
